New Plays all the time and around the world

This is a venue in which to discuss all things in the world of New Plays.

Whether that be innovations discovered at WordBRIDGE, scholarship on new plays, new plays from international playwrights, the production of new plays, or new plays that I write, this blog will document my journey as a playwright.

Thus far my journey has been that of a scholar/artist, delving into theory as I continue to practice my craft.  I teach playwriting and I write plays and I work with playwrights; all of these endeavors are based in the idea that we can all figure out together the voices and forms that will carry us through the 21st century.

This will be a forum for sharing of ideas and resources that I have accumulated during the past decade as a playwright.  Perhaps it is naive, but I believe that playwrights must lift one another up, rather than compete, we must meet around dining room tables and talk about our ideas, we must find those that are of our own kind and with them find the theatre of tomorrow.
